Weddings at Tenuta Odegitria

— SECTION 1

Tenuta Odegitria: a wedding in a real trulli village

You were looking for authentic Puglia. Not the brochure version, not a photo set built to look like it. You were looking for living territory — trulli, vineyards, the Valle d’Itria — and you wanted to get married inside it, not in front of it.

When you arrive at Tenuta Odegitria, something happens that’s hard to explain before you live it: the road leaves the main highway, the landscape opens onto hills and vineyards that seem still in the Puglian afternoon, and in front of you appears a unique 18th-century trulli village.

It’s not a venue that acquired trulli as a scenic element. These are authentic 18th-century trulli, with dry-stone walls, white cones, and courtyards that tell centuries of life in this corner of Puglia the world knows as Valle d’Itria.

— SECTION 2

Your guests will stop. They’ll look. And before they even say a word, they’ll take out their phone.

Not because you asked them to. But because what they see is something they’ve never seen before.

Photographer - Tenuta Odegitria

When you started looking for a venue, you probably had something specific in mind: a place that felt truly Puglian — not in marketing rhetoric, but in the substance of its stones.

— SECTION 3

A place where you can have a legal civil ceremony without organizing a procession of cars to the town hall.

A place where your guests won’t end up bored in the same room for eight hours straight.

Outdoor spaces - Tenuta Odegitria

A place where you can choose your catering, your vendors, your style — without being forced into a rigid package.

You visited beautiful masserie. You received complete offers. And every time, something remained unresolved: the feeling that you were choosing the best available option, not the right one...

— SECTION 4

An authentic 18th-century village among vineyards and olive trees, with 8 different settings for a day that never repeats, a legal civil rite on site, total freedom of choice for vendors, a panoramic indoor option that makes even a rainy day beautiful, and trulli where you can sleep the same night — without moving, without ending the magic too soon.

So you may be wondering...

Why Tenuta Odegitria, among all the venues in Valle d'Itria?

Because it’s the only authentic 18th-century trulli village in the area with:

  • legal civil ceremony on site
  • full open catering
  • panoramic Plan B included
  • overnight stay in trulli integrated.

It’s not a formula — it’s a place that has existed for three centuries and that Anna Maria and Giovanni chose to share.

Keep reading because in the next pages you’ll find:

  • what makes a space truly authentic, and what sets it apart from those that only look like it
  • what a day at Tenuta Odegitria looks like, from arrival to the day after
  • and why freedom to choose your vendors isn’t an operational detail, but a statement of respect for you.

— SECTION 6

There are things you notice right away when visiting wedding venues in Puglia.
And there are things you only understand later, when you sit down and think about what you saw.

What you notice right away:

The trulli, the vineyards, copper lights, tables set with white flowers.

It’s beautiful. It’s recognizable.

It’s — let’s be honest — already seen.

What you realize later:

  • That most venues have a single main area, with extra spaces added over time to handle increasing demand.
  • That the ceremony happens in one place, then everyone gets in the car to go sign at the town hall, then back, then waiting, then finally it starts.
  • That the catering is the venue’s, chosen from a catalogue — not in reality.
  • That if it rains, Plan B is a white tent in the parking lot.
  • We’re not talking about bad venues. We’re talking about compromises that become visible only when it’s too late to change them.

— SECTION 7

Tenuta Odegitria wasn’t “optimized” for weddings in recent years.
It’s a village that has existed since the 18th century, with architectural and landscape coherence you can’t build or buy.

Every courtyard, every tholos, every corner of the oak grove was here before the wedding industry existed.

And this difference — between authenticity of substance and authenticity of styling — is felt physically the moment you step in.

Anna Maria and Giovanni know it.

That’s why they created a model that imposes nothing: freedom to choose catering, freedom in styling, freedom to imagine the day without being guided by a pre-packaged format.

THE SPACES: A VILLAGE TO DISCOVER

First impression: crossing a threshold in time

Two kilometres from Martina Franca, four from Locorotondo, and one kilometre from the SS 172 “dei Trulli”, you’ll find Tenuta Odegitria.

The entrance lane is already a change of state: on one side the road, on the other a different era.

18th-century dry-stone trulli, an Italian-style garden, green alternating with white stone.

There’s a quality of silence here that doesn’t belong to venues designed to make noise.

They share one feature no florist can replicate: the real landscape around you.

Vineyards, hills, the silhouettes of Valle d’Itria towns in the background.

A light that changes throughout the day and, at sunset, turns any scene into something unrepeatable.

Or, thanks to its naturally shaded and cool character, it can be an ideal area for a civil ceremony — without adding unattractive umbrellas that don’t really protect from the heat.

— SECTION 10

The oak grove and the garden: a ceremony immersed in Valle d’Itria

The attached municipal office makes it possible to celebrate a fully legal civil ceremony right here, without transfers, waiting, or interruptions in the emotional flow of the day.

Vows, guests, the view: everything in the same place, at the same moment.

This continuity — so simple to name, so rare to find — completely changes the quality of the experience for you and the people who love you.

...it’s an equally evocative space where the landscape stays visible, where light filters through the glass, where Valle d’Itria is still there, around you.

THE TRULLI VILLAGE: the aperitif that becomes exploration

Four completely different settings, available at the same time during the aperitif.

Your guests won’t stay in a single spot with a drink in hand — they move, discover, take photos, meet in unexpected corners.

This free movement among different scenes has a precise effect on the atmosphere: it keeps the feeling of surprise alive, creates conversations that wouldn’t happen elsewhere, and produces photos no photographer has to orchestrate.

The venue works for you, naturally.

Dinner among dry-stone walls: when the restaurant enters the 18th century

Trulli village, pool, aia, indoor hall: dinner can take place in completely different settings depending on the season, style, and the couple’s vision.

The dry-stone walls of authentic trulli create an immersive atmosphere no decorator can build from scratch — it’s the same stone that has endured for three centuries, and it’s what your guests will see while they dine.

Accommodation for your guests

In addition, three trullo apartments for 2–4 people and three rooms in the masseria with panoramic view complete the hospitality for your closest family — buffet breakfast included the morning after.

The wedding doesn’t end on Saturday night: it continues on Sunday morning, in this place, with the people who matter most.

ANNA MARIA & GIOVANNI: hospitality from those who chose to live here

Anna Maria Calella and Giovanni Conserva don’t run Tenuta Odegitria from a distant office. They live here, work here, and know it in every season and every light.

Their hospitality philosophy — direct, personal, without intermediaries — comes from this proximity: they’re not selling a space, they’re sharing a place that belongs to them in the deepest sense of the word.

When you come for a site visit, they are the ones who guide you. When you have questions during the planning months, Anna Maria answers. When something unexpected happens on the wedding day, Giovanni handles it.

This continuity — the same person from first contact to last toast — is rare in the wedding industry, where you often sign with one person, plan with another, and face the day with someone you’ve never met before.

— SECTION 19

15 years of experience, 70 weddings, the same words in the reviews

In fifteen years of activity and seventy hosted weddings, the words that keep coming back in couples’ testimonials are always the same: availability, courtesy, authenticity.

And there’s one constant variation: “we felt at home, but in a dream place”.

This combination — the familiar warmth of being welcomed like guests at home, inside a space that is objectively extraordinary — is what turns a wedding from “beautiful” into “unforgettable in the right way”.

— SECTION 20

Venue exclusivity

What does it mean to have the venue exclusively?

Not only that there are no other weddings at the same time or right after, but also that there are no other minor events or outside guests in the property on your wedding day — for example, people staying in rooms sold to occasional customers.

You’ll certainly want to avoid curious onlookers and gatecrashers on your big day, just as your guests would never want to be forced to rush their coffee because they’re asked to leave to make room for the evening shift.

— SECTION 21

Now it’s your turn!

Come and see it. No words can compare to the moment you step into the village for the first time and understand — without explanations — that the search is over.
